Now that the Tony Ugoh has retired leaving David Mims and Stephenson as the primary tackle back-up for the Chiefs, what do you do with “Lil” David Mims?  Play him at swing , slot him at RT for his power  or give him burn at his natural LT position?  Should be fun to watch.  Go Chiefs

David Mims was a “project” and “raw” last year.  This year David Mims is ” in production” and  “medium rare” .  Challenging  for the swing tackle sport in Chiefs camp, Mims has a chance to break into the bigs at one of the most important positions in football: left tackle.

Natural size and talent can’t be taught.  Early Chief camp reports this gifted 6’8″ 327 lbs mountain of a man is trimmer and more polished in his pass protection and stretch plays. More reps will only make this kid better and a unique weapon (even for NFL standards).    Keep an eye on David Mims, a rising star in the NFL.  What a find for Scott Pioli.
